Cord lock designs focused on ergonomics and user experience
The new CA720S shown above is an innovative sew-on clean cord hook and loop closure solution, available in recycled PA and designed for 2.0mm bungee cord. This makes it ideal for sewn-in closures for apparel, especially baseball caps and vests. It also offers a very neat solution for tension straps used on bags and backpacks.
Our CA725H clean and clear bungee cord loop system (above) offers stable, reliable closure for 2.5mm bungee cord, and is available in recycled POM. The ergonomic design is good for single handed operation and the precision of the sculpted form of the closure pinch point has a satisfying positive lock that gives an immediate feeling of security.
If you need to connect to a bungee loop on a bag, footwear, or apparel, the CA725H1 pictured above is a hook style fastener with secure cord loop closure for 2.5mm bungee cord. Very easy to hook, tension, and release but also extremely reliable and secure. Positive locking with easy release maximises the user experience and ‘best fit’ that is a core feature of Nifco fasteners.
For chest strap anchors and fasteners, we have developed the CA725P ‘bungee bolt,’ which is perfect for anchoring one side of a chest strap when partnered with the CA725H cord loop for 2.5mm bungee cord as shown above. This can be repositioned at any point on the anchor cord for increased flexibility of application, for example enabling cords to be easily repositioned for comfortable apparel or to apply pressure to compress bulges in packs and bags.
